Set in a bushland of 4 hectares, Cradle Highlander is home to many endemic wildlife and plant species. Each of the 16 cabins is individually designed and crafted from Tasmanian timber with a rustic charm echoing its surroundings. Some cabins are built for two while others are for a family or a small group.

Directly opposite the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre, Cradle Highlander is 5-min walk from the bus terminal of Cradle Mountain National Park.

A self-catering accommodation, each cabin of Cradle Highlander is equipped with a kitchen offering the comfort of home cooking. It is also within 3-min drive to all 4 restaurants in the local area.

Whether you are seeking a secluded getaway as a couple, or celebrating a special occasion with family and friends, Cradle Highlander is where you create unforgettable memories with the loved ones.

Cradle Highlander Location

Cradle Highlander accommodation is located in the Cradle Valley on Highway C132, about 3.5 km after the turn-off to Cradle Mountain. The cottages are on the right-hand side of the road 200 metres past the National Park's Cradle Information Centre and just a couple of minutes drive from the entrance to the World Heritage-listed Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park World Heritage area in Tasmania, Australia.
