The bushsmans hut is a great place to stay. Beautiful scenery, friendly wallabies, just gorgeous! Very cosy little hut, we loved it!

What else can i say! It's perfect such an amazing place. We woke up this morning to a winter wonderful. Just beautiful. Life doesn't get any better than this. light snow, freezing, cold, log cabin,wild animals (that are not so wild) wood fire, soup, tea, coffee, scotch and wine. Peace & quiet. A perfect place! We only stayed one night but we will be back. I will be recommending this place to everyone i know.

This is by far the loviest and cosiest place i've stayed during my vacation to Tasmania. The Bushmans Hut has truly captured the essense of living in this serene and tranquil environment. Coupled with very helpful and friendly staff at the reception, it has made this trip unforgetable. An indescribable experience i would wist to revisit some day!

After a long drive we arrived and were not disappointed settled in and went to devils@cradle for the night feed (its a must). After the feed came back here for a warm cosy night, on driving up driveway had to giveway to a bush billdozer (Wombat) he was huge made fatso from country practice look like a baby

A real haven of tranquility and comfort "Wombat Hut" has all the conveniences of home and everything is spotlessly clean. The weather was mostly cold and wet during our stay, so the cosiness of the wood heater was a great luxury. Our reception on arrival was welcoming and cheerful and we felt a very friendly atmosphere. We're pleased to recommend highlander to anyone wanting a comfortable and peaceful place to stay.
