Thank you for another wonderful stay. This place has it all - snow, cosy cabin, warm fire, wildlife....our time here has again been the highlight of our holiday. Thanks for your warm and friendly hospitality!

A lovely cabin in beautiful surroundings! The wood fire is fantastic! The cabin was equipped with everything we needed to have a warm cosy evening. The bed is very comfortable. We will definitely be back and be recommending this place to our friends. Thank you to our friendly, welcoming hosts!!

We knew as soon as we turned into the driveway that Highlanders was going to be a special place and boy we weren't disappointed! Best accomodation we had on our entire visit to Tassie. The little extras and service were a credit to the managers. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality and making us feel so very welcome. Loved the "platter", the fireplace and spa and view of cradle. Now for the park - wonderful walks - have to come back still have a few to do. Saw everything the park has to offer on the night spotlight tour - even a quoll. Devils@ cradle was a very interesting night and great fun to watch them feeding in a mad frenzy.

A wonderful fortnight! Magnificent walks in the national park. All kinds of weather (including snow) and all kinds of animals (even a platypus) Also saw some of the beauty of the north west coastal area. We loved this place, so beautifully designed and lovingly maintained. We were looked after so well, also, thank you Kim ( and the others whom we didn't meet) and Carrol and Candi

Its our 7th year coming to this magnificent paradise and each time it's like a little slice of heaven! Thank you for your generous & warm hospitality. We absolutely adore the highlander cottages and we will be back again for our anniversary - although i am still hoping we can stay in Pademelon! We have highly recommended your clean, warm, cosy, perfect cabins to many friends so we hope they will bring you some business. In the last 7 years we have seen possums, wallbies, wombats, a boobook owl, wedge tail eagles, native rat, eastern quolls (light and dark morphs) tassie devils and only once - out on a log in your driveway - a spotted tail quoll! So, our mission is to see one again next year. Thank you so much and we will see you next year.

Idyllic wilderness retreat - peaceful, secluded, set in world heritage rainforest of unsurpassed beauty. The Bushmans' Hut proved a luxurious recreation of it's spartan origins

Excellent, friendly service - thanks Ian and Sharon- great bed, warm fire, peaceful. It was good to see a pademelon for the first time while staying in Pademelon.

Who would want to stay in a fancy resort with spa's, restaurant etc when you can stay in a delightful cabin in fantastic surrounds like this? We came here from WA to enjoy the environment, the trees, the animals and the weather and this cabin is "just right". Are all Tasmanians as friendly helpful and hospitable as the hosts and their associates running the complex? best wishes

Dennis Maxwell has been bringing people to Cradle Mountain for 45 years and at 75 years of age he brought us here today to Wombat Cottage as part of our father & son journey across the overland track. These cottages are in keeping with Gustar Weinhoffers Waldeim vision for appropriate accommodation in this very fragile national park. They are comfortable, clean and sit easily in their environment. We have heavy packs and only our own to feet "the flat - foot express" to take us the 80kms to Lake St Clair. We enjoyed the pademelon welcoming party
