"Currawong" & "Stringybark" Cottages
are airy two bedroom cottages, ideal for two couples or a family.
Both cabins have essentially the same internal layout, but Currawong
has a large entry porch whilst Stringybark is entered from a covered
deck.
Both cottages have spacious open plan living areas warmed by slow
combustion log fires. The well-equipped kitchens each have a gas
stove and oven, microwave and large fridge and each cabin has a
private deck, just perfect for a family BBQ or friendly chat with
the natives.
The two bedrooms are separated from each other by a central bathroom
with bath/shower. One bedroom has a queen size bed, the other a
double.
The sturdy beds are hand made from solid Tasmanian oak or blackwood
timber. There is also a trundle bed in Currawong’s second bedroom,
whilst in Stringybark there is a set of bunks.
The interior walls of these two cabins are lined with beautiful
macrocarpa and Tasmanian blackwood, and the floors with rustic Tasmanian
oak floorboards. Both cabins are very private, with lovely forest
views.
